Wiki Labs Brings Colour and Connection Through “Paint Our Malaysia” CSR Initiative

KUALA LUMPUR, 4 September 2026 — Wiki Labs recently organised a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, “Paint Our Malaysia,” at Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-kanak Istimewa Insan, bringing employees and children together through a collaborative Jalur Gemilang painting activity.

Held from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the centre in Taman Gembira, Kuala Lumpur, the programme was organised as part of Wiki Labs’ ongoing commitment to community engagement and meaningful social contribution.

During the activity, Wiki Labs employees worked alongside the children to paint the Malaysian flag together. Beyond the creative activity itself, the programme provided an opportunity for participants to interact, communicate and work towards a shared goal in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Creating Meaningful Connections Through CSR

Community-based CSR activities can play an important role in building stronger connections between organisations and the communities around them.

For the children, activities such as painting can encourage creative expression, participation, social interaction and teamwork. Completing a shared artwork also gives participants the opportunity to contribute individually while being part of a larger collective effort.

Celebrating Unity Through the Jalur Gemilang

The choice of the Jalur Gemilang as the centrepiece of the activity carried an added significance.

As a symbol of Malaysia’s identity and unity, painting the national flag together reflected the values of cooperation, inclusivity and togetherness. Each participant contributed to completing the artwork, representing how different individuals can come together towards a common purpose.

The initiative was also particularly meaningful as it took place during Malaysia’s National Month celebrations.
